Spreading the Word: Connect for Life at Pant WI
Last Thursday, Frances and Julia visited the lovely ladies at Pant WI to share the story of Connect for Life. A huge thank you to Margaret Williams for organising and for her kind words: "Frances and Julia were brilliant... our members really enjoyed hearing about what you achieve."

A "Mischievous" Start to Our 10th Birthday!
What a way to kick off our 10th birthday year! We had a blast at our "Mischief!" workshop with the amazing Vamos Theatre. It was a day filled with laughter, playfulness, and - as promised - plenty of mischief!

A huge thank you to Vamos Theatre, our wonderful volunteers, and everyone who joined the fun, including our guests from Bluebell View Care Home. We couldn't have asked for a better start to our year of celebrations!


Big News for Our 10th Year!
We’re absolutely thrilled to be stepping into Connect For Life’s 10th year — a whole decade of connection, support, and community. It feels incredibly special to look back on everything we’ve shared so far, and even more exciting to look ahead to what’s next.

Our amazing Project Co-ordinator, Alison Humphreys, has been awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) in The King’s New Year Honours.
We’re absolutely delighted and so proud - it’s a well-deserved recognition of her dedication, compassion, and the difference she makes for our community every single day. Congratulations, Alison.


AGM 2025: An Unforgettable Afternoon
Our recent AGM was anything but typical - an amazing afternoon that blended celebration with community spirit. Guests were treated to a standout performance by John Edwards, followed by plenty of dancing, laughter, and lively conversation.
With delicious refreshments and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, the event brought everyone together in a way that was both memorable and meaningful. It was truly an AGM to remember!
