AGM 2025: An Unforgettable Afternoon
Our recent AGM was anything but typical - an amazing afternoon that blended celebration with community spirit. Guests were treated to a standout performance by John Edwards, followed by plenty of dancing, laughter, and lively conversation.
With delicious refreshments and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, the event brought everyone together in a way that was both memorable and meaningful. It was truly an AGM to remember!
You’re Invited to the Connect for Life AGM!
Connect for Life warmly invites you to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday 15th November 2025, from 2pm to 4pm at Gatacre Pavilion, Oswestry.

Our AGM is a chance to come together with our wonderful community to reflect on the past year, celebrate our achievements, and look ahead to the future. The afternoon will include a short formal meeting, followed by live music from John Edwards,light refreshments, and a raffle — the perfect way to brighten up a November day!


Full House! A Fantastic Night of Fundraising at The Highwayman, Oswestry
Connect for Life would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported our recent charity bingo night at The Highwayman, Oswestry. Thanks to your generosity, we raised an amazing £564 to support our work with people living with dementia and memory loss.

A special thank you goes to Tyler, Su, and the team at The Highwayman for hosting and organising the evening, to Wynnstay Oswestry, Printing Solutions, and Oswestry Life Magazine for their generous prize donations, and to our fantastic volunteers for gathering even more prizes. Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came along to play — we couldn’t have done it without you!
Heritage Days Exhibition Showcases Connect for Life Artwork
Connect for Life are proud to have our artwork featured at Oswestry Museum as part of the Heritage Days celebrations. Our Wednesday and Thursday groups created three distinctive art installations, each inspired by the beauty and history of Oswestry.

A heartfelt thank you to Nichola Ethelston for her creative guidance, Oswestry Town Museum for hosting the display, Jewsons Oswestry for their support with materials, and our wonderful volunteers who helped bring the project to life.
